A Retired Military Veteran Ready to Advocate for SCUCISD

Who is Albert Ramirez?

     A stalwart advocate for families within the SCUCISD, Mr. Albert Ramirez exemplifies commitment in every sphere of his life. From serving in the United States Air Force to volunteering for community initiatives, his passion for serving others is unparalleled. For two decades, Albert donned the uniform of the United States Air Force, retiring with honor in 2019. His tenure saw him excel as an C-17 Globe Master Aircraft Mechanic, later transitioning to a paralegal role within the Air Force’s Judge Advocate Corps, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. Following retirement, Albert transitioned seamlessly into the realm of real estate, aligning with the Brandi Cook Real Estate Group. Today, he stands tall as one of the group's top-performing agents.

 

    Outside his professional endeavors, Albert cherishes his role as a devoted husband and father. Married for over 20 years to Mary Lou Ramirez, a dedicated educator who formally taught at Schlather Intermediate School, the couple is blessed with two sons. Tristan, attending Byron P. Steele High School, and Logan, a student at J. Frank Dobie Middle School, are the heart of Albert's universe.

 

      Albert's commitment to his community is profound. As an active member of the Capital Improvements Board in Cibolo, TX, and the Home Owner’s Association Board at Buffalo Crossing subdivision, he continuously seeks avenues to make impactful contributions. His spiritual endeavors find him serving as a local church leader, catering to the needs of congregants in Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, New Braunfels, and Seguin. Further, he's spearheaded numerous outreach initiatives, from feeding the needy with the San Antonio Food Bank and Haven for Hope organization to assisting the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Albert's unwavering dedication is also evident in his roles within the Steele Knights Band Booster Club in Cibolo. In his professional capacity, Albert is a member of the San Antonio Board of Realtor’s, Military Advisory Group.

 

      Choosing to make Cibolo his forever home post his military service, Albert's love for the community is evident. He's a firm believer in the foundations laid down by the past and present leaders of Schertz, Cibolo, and the Universal City Communities, and aspires to enhance this legacy. For Albert, building a thriving community is synonymous with nurturing schools. By supporting teachers, students, parents, and other community members, he's on a mission to weave a stronger community fabric, preparing every child for a brighter, more promising future.
